Hey all! ~.^Mahina here, giving you the latest update from Vana'diel! I was recently invited to a killer beach party at the luxurious Valkurm Dunes. (thanks for the invite Fylia!) I didn't think I'd be able to make it, cause the traffic to Mhaura was terrible - there were goblins everywhere. But I made it and I was surprised how cheap boat tickets were! I got an AMAZING deal and it was only 100 gil! The Hume ticket attendant probably thought I was cute (lol he was super HOTT!). The boat ride was really cool so I took a lot of pictures. I hope you like them!

On the boat I found out why tickets were so cheap. Can you believe the waters around here are so dangerous? And they don't even hire any guards or anything so you pretty much just have to fend for yourself. I almost died SERIOUSLY. o.O Here's a pic of some of the monsters that came aboard while I was on. Like right after taking this one of them jumped at me. It's way too bad I didn't get a pic of THAT!
It was kinda late when we got to Selbina. That place is really cool! I hope I can go back and do some shopping or something there sometime. Here's me posing with the Elvaan at the docks, for no real reason. ~.^
The party at the dunes was pretty cool, but Fylia said that it wasn't as good as other times she's gone. Apparently these Goblin Bounty Hunters recently moved into the area and are pretty much annoying all the residents and visitors there. One of them showed up and the party just fell apart - it was way super lame (but just the end, the rest was cool). Maybe I'll post pictures of the party later!

No. Mahina's respectable but excitable and very outgoing. A full on California Valley Girl would have thrown in a lot more "like, omg!"s, "Totally!"s and "For serious!"s. And it would have way more netspeak and bad spelling. For full on Valley Girl, paragraph one would have to look something like:

Oops. I think accidentally got some retarded 12 year old in my teenage valley girl. They all lie about their age online so it's impossible to tell.
Whatever it is, I find this post frightening in the extreme.
