My room is a mess again.

My brother recently got a pet gerbil. My sister-in-law had to go and send pictures, so now I've been subjected to it's utter cuteness and wish-i-had-a-pet syndrome has temporarily kicked in. When I was younger I managed to convinced my parents to let me get something small and cageable, so during elementary school there was a short series of hamsters (all meeting terrible ends). I never could convince them to let me have a rabbit. And I've always wanted to try mice or a rat... Oh well, maybe someday after I move out of student-approved housing.

For now I've been very happy to have the company of two plants I took in over the summer. I've yet to kill them! They're actually both incredibly healthy looking. I live in the basement so I get limited sun exposure, but they're positioned to take full advantage of it. If it's overcast or my blinds are down for a few days, you can really tell. It's been sunny, so here they are sitting in my window, (almost) as green as can be.

I should probably hang the one on the right before I've got vines all over my carpet. And I think the one on the left needs a a bigger pot. It's grown quite a bit taller over the past two months, and leaves on the outside keep turning yellow and falling off.

Besides, the pot it came with is just cheap plastic. And yes, that's a pie tin underneath it... But where does one go to make such a purchase? I've never really had to buy plant supplies before. I'll ride around Provo and check out the craft/gardening scene. I'm sure I can find one with minimal effort (but if anyone has a suggestion to reduce my effort to zero, that'd be nice).

Wait a second... what the heck is that behind the plant?

Holy crap! It's scary looking enormous fisted Luffy (last mentioned here)! *dun dun DUN* It appears as though he's getting ready to eat that magical girl!

But here comes the real Luffy and Sanji to save the day! XD Joy of joys!

Thus ended Scary-looking Enormous-fisted Bizzaro Luffy's magical girl killing spree. Thanks to our heroes.

~The End~

Stay tuned next week! Captain Kuro makes a special guest appearance and challenges Sailor Moon to a fight! But what about her lunch date with Super Girl and Goliath the gargoyle!? Will anyone survive?! Will Kimberly ever put her toys away!?!

I bet you could find some plant supplies easy at Home Depot. Here's the address, very close to the Provo Town Centre:
1550 S University Ave

By the way, the enormously huge fisted Luffy is a freak of nature. Why have you not put it out of its misery and melted it down to the basic plastic elements of whence it came from?

And Sailor Moon and Luffy should totally date. Seriously. They'd go well together.

Sailor Moon and Luffy? No... I'm not sure... that would work out very well.. *blank stare at ted*

You see... Luffy would constantly forget stuff like her birthday, their dates, the fact that they are dating, etc. Usagi would keep getting mad at him for it. Being a shoujo character, Usagi would only date such a guy as some sort of brilliant plan - probably to make Mamoru jealous.

In the Shoujo Sailor Moon universe, Mamoru would simply become sad that Usagi had found happiness with someone else, but they'd eventually resolve their differences when Usagi confronted him about it.

In the Shonen One Piece universe, Usagi would become a comic relief character, insisting she and Luffy are dating while Luffy pretty much ignores his surroundings. She'd be dropped at the end of the arc when she realizes Luffy's determination and love for adventure would never allow him to be tied down to one place.

Wait...did.. did I just write a mini fan-fiction synopsis? o.O
