It feels like the first two weeks of school are already over, because I don't usually have my schedule finalized until then. But shock and awe, I'm in all the classes I need and am happy with the layout. Now that I have extra time, I just need to see my academic counselor and make sure that these classes are for sure for serious going to really actually get me graduated by April.
It's going to be a pretty heavy workload this semester, but it's so broken up into different types of work that I think I can handle it. The independent courses really don't look too bad - provided I actually do them and don't just wait till March. I have a capstone project in one class I'm really not looking forward to doing. There also my 1 credit pass/fail research practicum course, where I get to help a professor complete an academic research project. No idea what I'll be doing yet, but I did manage to get signed up with one of the professors in the department I have an academic crush on (which is sort of like a man crush, only instead of a non-sexual admiration from one guy to another, it's just from one knowledge seeking student to her few truly brilliant professors). Hooray for research!
My only real concern of the moment is getting over this cold before we actually begin any hard work in my classes. Oh, and earning enough reputation from the dwarves to be able to buy a ram mount. Because elekks are too rotund.
Answer to previous entry: It seems I forgot to add the most important premise - pretend this is a puzzle, and that said puzzle has a solution. Because it is. And it does. It was not, nor does it even resemble, my actual resolution list. I don't really care about world maps. The solution is yes. No, you didn't get any extra points for being a smart alec.
But having now gauged the interest/ability of my readership in logic puzzles, I know not to post too much about my Metalogic class, nor the deep dark secrets of math that may be discovered within.
