4 Things + 1 Thing

A) If your roommate makes brownies to munch on during a stressful week, and you are going to steal one - at least ATTEMPT to make it subtle - steal a sliver, take one from the same row that others are missing, replace the tin foil neatly on top. More offense will probably be taken at the unabashed act than in the thievery itself.

B) If you're doing a powerpoint presentation where you've split up all the slides and one person will later combine them - DON'T DO ANY FANCY FORMATTING THAT YOU HAVEN'T ASKED THE REST OF THE GROUP ABOUT. Especially when the teacher has explicitly stressed that the slides need to look consistent for full points.

C) After one person has already agreed to perform said task of combining slides, do not fake sympathy that you're sooo distraught for making them do when you were more than happy to hoist it on them at the group meeting. And DO NOT offer on insist on helping when they are already halfway through doing it - at this point you're really just bothering them more than anything.

D) ANGER! BLRAUGH!

Go Speed Racer, Go!

I have this... strange attraction to Speed Racer. I'm not sure if it's the campiness, the ridiculous world, the action packed drama, or some combination thereof. But I love it. So when I watched this trailer last night I nearly choked on my sandwich. I knew this was in the works but... holy shlamole.




I cannot truthfully say that this looks like any sort of cinematic masterpiece. But it's going to be nerdy eye candy and over the top drama. I'm intrigued by the highly cartoony car sequences and brightly colored sets - it looks like someone was playing a lot of Double Dash while making this film. Even if the movie ends up being terrible, it has the chance of being even campier fun than the original series. I am so going to the theatre for this one.
