Test Results: You Test Negative for Epic Fail!

One of the reasons Valentine's Day started on a down note was the fact that I took a History test that (a) took much longer than I imagined it would, because (b) I somehow studied all the wrong things and was clueless for most of it. There was a written part but only the multiple-choice section was scored immediately, so I walked out of the testing center with a whopping 54%. I've been depressed about it but it turns out that after my EXCELLENT essay on the Port of Nagasaki was factored in, questions were thrown out, and the score was slightly curved, I walk away with a 79.8%.

This is very very good news, since being a senior means I develop ulcers and rashes at the mere suggestion of failing any of my classes. On the other hand, I can't say my story is quite as dramatic as Neromir's latest test scare. Many congrats to the both of us! We should start a "I used to complain about test curves but it turns out they totally saved my grade" group on Facebook or something.

All of this after SETTING the curve on my Comms midterm two weeks ago. I swear, the ups and downs of this semester are going to kill me.

And now boys and girls it's time to go work on my independent study classes. I promised to treat myself to something nice if I finish the next three assignments by tonight!
