Oi, here I am you insatiable masses. With my fatigued brain and frost bitten fingers. My bicycle breaks are wet and squeaky, my stomach full of empty carbs, my room a mess. For you!
Many apologies for the late Monday thing - I was pleasantly surprised to hear more than one quandary about it. The people love me! Or... the people love free candy! My plan for worldwide renown and popularity is working perfectly.
Wandering Wednesday
My head is spinning cause the world is so great.
Psychonauts - Their Own Flesh and Blood -- Monday evening I got caught up preparing a class presentation for Tuesday. Tuesday I have late classes and then studied for my two Wednesday tests. I'm freshly back from the testing center. There was a 5 hour gap between tests (during which I was at work), but for both tests I had this song stuck in my head on loop the entire time. It's not really that I had any undue anxiety about the tests - I think my brain just thought it was funny. Leaving the testing center I scrolled to it on my iPod. The second it started loudly playing I realized I was standing on the poorly lit back stairs on campus near Rape Hill on a cold October evening. Dramatic.
Oh snap, now I totally have to do a Halloween/horror themed thing later this month. But first I have to think of a good costume this year - otherwise it's gonna be a depressing holiday. Anywho, back to the feature...
Space Channel 5 - Part 2 - Invasion Song Mecha (King Kong Kahn) -- You guys also get another chunk of the Space Channel 5 soundtrack, since Xirax was asking about my favorite soundtrack pieces and this came to mind. Technically he asked about movies but I'm too scatterbrained to comply to all his outlandish requirements right now. This is the boss fight for the first level - one of the more stylish fights of the game and one of my favorite pieces on the soundtrack. What I really want to do is post a clip of me playing this level. Because I rock seriously hardcore at this game. Instead here's a clip I found on youtube. You can pretend it's me playing if you want (the mp3 is instrumental with minor japanese vocals at the end - the clip is in-game from the english version). It's not really required viewing, but if you've never seen SC5 in action, you really out to.
